This lovely Friendship home received a refresh in color and furnishings.  We altered the way you engage with the entry through a glass and steel panel to ground the first touchpoint of the home.  The design-minded client was intrigued by modern forms, open to saturated color, and delighted by mixing textures. 

 

In 2004, the current owner underwent a major renovation to return this Victorian home to a single-family residence.  Much of the original character had been sacrificed due to many earlier renovations.  With this, along with the architectural firm SDA, the owner had a blank canvas in which to create a more sustainable home.  One of the main goals was to allow light to flow through a newly opened floor plan with material finishes that supported sustainable design.
